Compassionate Care of the Carolinas, owned by Judy Morris, is located at 401 N. Main Street, Suite D in Hemingway and provides home care services throughout South Carolina.

With 25 years of nursing experience as an RN and eight years as a Nurse Practitioner in nursing homes, Judy understands firsthand what patients and families need.

But opening her own home care agency wasn't originally the plan.

Judy says that while working in the medical field, she felt God speak clearly to her: "You're not doing what I've asked you to do. I want you to open a home care business."

She obeyed—and says God has provided an incredible staff and clients who continually express how much they appreciate the care they receive.

Compassionate Care provides services such as:

• Personal care & assistance with daily living

• Skilled nursing services

• Respite, private care, sitting & 24-hour care

• Light housekeeping & meal preparation

• Medication reminders

• Grocery shopping & errands

• AM & PM care

• Transportation/accompaniment to appointments

• Check-in calls or visits

Their goal is simple: help clients remain safe, respected, understood, and cared for in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible.

They currently accept Medicaid, VA clients, and private pay, with additional insurance options planned for the future.

Also located here is CCC Medical Training School—an extension of Judy's vision to invest in the next generation of caregivers.
